Looking for a way to enjoy Lake Texoma and contribute to a worthy cause this weekend?

That’s entirely possible thanks to the second annual Toby Keith Foundation fundraising bass tournament, an event known as Fish Bowl 2020.

Won by Josh Pittman & Brad Vance last year, the tournament will benefit the Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral, a home for children battling cancer.

Scheduled tomorrow, June 20, from 5:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., the captain’s meeting (for those who have not registered by mail or online) will take place tonight at 6 p.m. at the Rally Pavilion at Rooster Creek.

The weigh-in tomorrow is at the same location and will be conducted in drive-through weigh-in style.

With a first place Bass Division prize of $10,000, tournament organizers say that based on 150 motorized boats, one in eight boats will get a payout from the event. In all, there are 15 prize levels including the winners, the day’s “Big Bass” ($2,000); and the event’s “Worst Fisherman” ($500); among others.

Better yet, all the proceeds from the fishing tournament will go towards the country music legend’s OK Kids Korral, a cost-free home for those battling pediatric cancer.
