Police investigated a stabbing in Sherman this weekend.

A Sherman teenager allegedly stabbed his roommate Saturday morning after a fight broke out.

Police responded to the 1000 block of East Lamar Street at about 10 a.m. Saturday and found the 30-year-old victim on the driveway of the residence.

The victim had injuries to his right leg and was unable to communicate with officers, the Sherman Police report said. Sherman EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, and police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division were called to the scene and performed an investigation.

Police arrested 18-year-old Nathanial Ryon Bailey for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Court records indicated bond was set at $15,000 for the offense. Police said a fight was what led to the stabbing incident.
