Victim reports food stamps, clothes stolen; other police reports

Sherman police release a summary of reports taken Wednesday and Thursday.

Harassment - On Wednesday, officers were dispatched to 300 block N Travis in reference to a Harassment. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the victim who stated the suspect has been at her residence several times and threatened her. The suspect broke her the window in the back of her car. No arrests were made and a report for Harassment was generated.

Public intoxication - On Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block Park Place in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived on scene and came into contact with the suspect who was highly intoxicated and creating a disturbance outside a residence. Ronald was arrested for public intoxication and a report was generated.

Burglary - On Wednesday, Sherman Dispatch received a call in reference to a theft that had occurred in the 300 block Archer Drive. The victim stated two individuals told her to give them her food stamp card while she was walking down the street. The victim further stated someone had broken into her residence and stole her clothes. Reports for burglary of a habitation and theft of property $100<$750 (ALL OTHER) were generated.

Driving while intoxicated - On Thursday, Officers conducted a traffic stop near N. Grand Avenue and E. Chaffin Street. During the stop, the driver showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to the Grayson County jail.
