Arrest made in Pottsboro shots fired case
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it has made an arrest related to a Saturday night shooting on Saturday.
Sydney McIntosh, 28, of Sherman, was charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
In a post on the GCSO Facebook page, the incident began around 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening in the 300 block of Paris Drive in Pottsboro where GCSO responded to a call of shots fired.
“Responding deputies learned a truck and passenger car were speeding down Paris Drive and a resident in the 300 block of Paris Drive yelled at the truck to slow down,” the release said. “The truck and passenger car then turned around and drove back past the residence owned by the resident and yelled at them. A subject in the back seat of the passenger car began shooting striking a vehicle parked in front of the residence.”
The post also said that multiple people were at the residence where the shots were fired.
“Investigating the offense led to the identity of the shooter and a warrant was issued for the individual,” the post said.
On Sunday evening, the suspect was arrested and booked into the Grayson County Detention Center on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
McIntosh’s bail has been set at 400,000.
