Grayson County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 18% people fully vaccinated

Grayson County has administered more than 50,375 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, as of April 13, according to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

That's up 16% from the previous week's tally of 43,573 COVID-19 doses administered.

In Grayson County, 18% of people living in Grayson County are fully vaccinated as of April 13. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Texas reported 2,837,160 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 0.92% from the week before.

The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Texas as of April 13 are Presidio County (44%), Jeff Davis County (38%), Brewster County (36%), Starr County (34%) and Menard County (32%).
