Ponder completed 37-for-63 passes for 496 yards and seven touchdown passes, connecting with Sanford 15 times for 134 yards and three scores, including the game-winner.


Triston Coglon chipped in 94 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches and also scored on the ground, Noah Straw added seven catches for 151 yards and a touchdown and Chris Hall finished with 88 yards and a TD on five catches for Bells (3-2).


Brandon Fisk ran for four touchdowns and threw a TD pass to Colton Quirl for Wolfe City (3-2).


Gunter 48, Bowie 14


BOWIE — Garrett Hunter had 105 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries as Gunter defeated Bowie in the Tigers’ final non-district game.


Austin Gressett threw a pair of touchdown passes to Spencer Lashley, Cade Leach scored on the ground and Kevin Teems returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown and caught six passes for 96 yards for Gunter (4-1).


Lawson Miller had a touchdown pass for Bowie (1-4).


Trenton 74, Dallas A+ 36


TRENTON — Kever Wylie ran for 221 yards and four touchdowns on 16 carries and threw a pair of TD passes as Trenton exploded past Dallas A+ Academy for a win.


Walker Copeland added 115 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, Avery Allin chipped in 150 yards and a score on 13 carries, Patrick Cook and Andrew Stegall scored on the ground and Cody Huff caught both TD pass for Trenton (2-3).


Sanger 42, Whitesboro 7


WHITESBORO — Tre’von Jackson collected 209 rushing yards on 16 carries and five touchdowns — the last of which went for 99 yards, capping a non-district win against Whitesboro.


Jackson’s other four touchdowns came from more reasonable distances — 21 yards, seven yards and two five-yard scores for Sanger (5-0).


Whitesboro’s only touchdown was a 31-yard pass from Zac Sanges to Wiley Walsh on fourth-and-17 that tied the game at seven at the end of the first quarter. Sanges finished with 85 yards on 17 carries and Josh Durrett had 16 rushes for 48 yards for the Bearcats (0-5).


Princeton 27, Gainesville 14


PRINCETON — Mason Copeland ran for 113 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries for Gainesville during a non-district loss.


Zukari Long added 65 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries while Devin Mims ran five times for 42 yards for Gainesville (2-3).


Colt Collins threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score to lead Princeton (4-1).


Cooper 32, Whitewright 14


WHITEWRIGHT — Seth Hames had four catches for 33 yards and a touchdown for Whitewright in a non-district loss.


It was one of two TD passes for Kendall Shaw, who also connected with Austin Powell for a score as the Tigers (3-2) got both touchdowns in the third quarter. Connor Henderson ran for 48 yards on seven carries.


Cooper (3-2) scored twice in the fourth quarter to pull away after a six-point lead through three quarters.


Boles 58, Blue Ridge 34


QUINLAN — Brevin Wiggins had 158 yards and three touchdowns on eight catches for Blue Ridge during a non-district loss at Quinlan Ford’s Lytal Stadium.


Ty Agan completed 23-of-40 passes for 379 yards and four touchdowns while Dakota Bell had five catches for 89 yards and Colby Quillan added a touchdown catch for Blue Ridge (2-3).


Boles (2-3) ran for 446 of its 492 yards.


Dist. 5-2A (II) Celeste 24, Collinsville 22


COLLINSVILLE — Hayden Smith ran for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries for Collinsville in a District 5-2A (II) loss against Celeste.


Smith also had a five-yard touchdown pass to Jesus Hernandez, who finished with 10 carries for 63 yards, for the Pirates (0-5, 0-1).


Celeste (3-2, 1-0) scored a touchdown in each of the final three quarters.
