Five of the newcomers will be bolstering the pitching staff with right-handers Scott Brinkley, Michael Brinska, Cory Scheibner and Mike Wade, along with lefty Scott Richards.

Ty Hanson comes in as a catcher, while Tim Hunter and Aaron Seele transfer in as infielders. Jake Perez rounds out the class in the outfield.

Scheibner, a pitcher from Allen, posted a 3-1 record at Grayson with a 4.22 ERA and averaged 9.56 strikeouts per game across from a total of just nine walks on the season.

Wade, a pitcher from Pottsboro, compiled a 2-2 record with 36 K’s over 20 appearances with the Vikings. In high school at Pottsboro, he was a two-time all-state pitching selection while also earning National Honor Society honors and was a four-time regional qualifier in track and golf.

Hanson, a native of Weatherford, spent his last two seasons at Grayson where he posted a .390 on-base percentage last season with a .419 slugging mark.
