DURANT, Okla. — Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Kevin Buckingham and Adam Dworsky have each been named D2CCA second-team All-Central Region selections.

The duo helped the Savage Storm to a 23-8 record overall, a second-place Great American Conference finish and a second-straight berth in the Central Regional.

Buckingham, a senior from Keller, was second in the league in scoring at 21 points and pulled down 7.4 rebounds per outing. He also had a team-high 1.5 steals per contest and dished out 2.2 assists per game.

He became just the fourth Southeastern player and second in the GAC to surpass the 2,000-point mark this season as well as becoming the GAC’s all-time leader in rebounding for a career.

Dworsky, a junior from Flower Mound, averaged 14.8 points and 8.4 assists, which ranks second nationally. His 261 assists shattered the SE and GAC single-season records for assists.

He also passed the 1,000-point mark while setting the Southeastern career record in assists and moving into second on the GAC all-time list in assists.
