CONWAY, Ark. — The Austin College women’s basketball team got out to a slow start but finished the game knocking down 12 three-pointers on their way to a 95-53 victory at Hendrix.

The ‘Roos (2-0) hit just 6-of-17 shots in the first quarter but still managed to build an 18-11 lead after one, forcing the Warriors into six early turnovers and dominating the boards by a 12-to-6 margin. West wrapped up the first half with 19 points.

Austin College shot 9-of-15 in the third quarter to push the lead to 70-43 heading into the fourth quarter. Fifteen players scored for Austin College, paced by West’s 23.
