Shae Pruiett added nine kills, five digs and three aces, Rayanna Mauldin finished with eight kills and three blocks and Jacee Childers handed out 40 assists to go with seven digs for Gunter (28-11, 8-1), which has the district bye on Friday before hosting Callisburg on Tuesday.


Cortlyn Cobb put down four kills, Libby Langford had three kills and seven digs, Ashlee Hensley totaled four assists and five digs, Elly Harper chipped in three assists and five digs and Chesney Wolf collected four digs for sixth-place Whitesboro, which plays at S&S on Friday.

In Sadler, the Lady Rams suffered a 25-13, 25-8, 25-7 loss against first-place Ponder in District 9-3A action.

In Princeton, the Sherman Lady Bearcats suffered a loss as third-place Princeton came away with a 25-21, 26-24, 25-9 victory in district action.


Sherman (5-32, 0-6) plays at Wylie East on Friday.


McKinney North 3, Denison 0


In Denison, the Lady Yellow Jackets suffered a loss as second-place McKinney North earned a 25-17, 25-10, 25-10 victory in district action.


Denison (14-23, 1-5) hosts first-place Lovejoy on Friday.

Blue Ridge 3, Howe 1


In Blue Ridge, Ally Harvey had 11 kills and 10 blocks for Howe but Blue Ridge topped the Lady Bulldogs, 25-15, 25-19, 20-25, 25-19, in district action.


Sierra Copeland added six kills and three blocks, Cassidy Anderson handed out 15 assists to go with 11 digs, Jenna Honore totaled three kills, six assists and six digs, Hannah Dwyer finished with three kills and nine digs and Gracie Lankford and Molly Wilson each collected seven digs for Howe (14-18, 2-7), which has the district bye on Friday before hosting Bonham on Tuesday.

In Bonham, Skylar Gerner had four kills and three blocks for Whitewright but second-place Bonham defeated the Lady Tigers, 25-14, 25-18, 25-14, in district action.


Callie McGee added three kills, Laura Simpson totaled four blocks and two kills, Gracie Robinson collected 14 digs and Katy Long chipped in four digs and four assists for Whitewright (4-24, 0-8), which plays at Bells on Friday.

Tioga 3, Alvord 0


In Tioga, Carly Hough had nine kills, four blocks and three aces as Tioga earned sole possession of third place with 25-14, 25-22, 25-6 victory against Alvord in district action after the teams entered the match tied in the standings.


Nicole Hill added nine kills and five aces, Kassady Vandagriff chipped in four kills and three blocks and Kinsey Evans totaled three kills and three blocks for Tioga, which plays at second-place Collinsville on Friday.


Collinsville 3, Valley View 1


In Collinsville, the second-place Lady Pirates clinched a playoff spot with a 25-18, 30-28, 22-25, 25-21 victory against Valley View in district action.


Collinsville (31-9, 7-1) will host third-place Tioga on Friday.

Wolfe City 3, Tom Bean 2


In Wolfe City, Chloe Farrer had 10 kills and 30 digs for Tom Bean but Wolfe City outlasted the Lady Tomcats, 18-25, 25-20, 28-26, 16-25, 15-10, in district action to pull even with Tom Bean in second place.


Raylynn Adams totaled 37 assists, eight kills, five aces and 11 digs, Kyndle Selman put down nine kills, Emma Lowing added seven kills, six digs and three aces, Kaitlyn Lind chipped in seven kills, Laramie Worley finished with six kills and seven digs, Taylor Whitehurst collected 31 digs, Morgan Stroud notched 11 digs and Shelby Mason contributed 10 digs for Tom Bean (11-18, 3-2), which plays at Trenton on Friday.
