OWENSBORO, Ky. — Southeastern Oklahoma State made up a bit of ground on the final day of the Kentucky Wesleyan Fall Invite, firing a final round 290 to improve three positions to 13th place with a two-round score of 588 at The Pearl Club.


The Savage Storm were nine shots behind 12th place and three shots ahead of 14th. Central Missouri took home the event title with a 552 over 36 holes.


Southeastern was paced by Bryce Hughes, who tied for 20th with a two-day tally of 141.


Jordan Holifield was three shots back after carding a 144 in a tie for 43th place.


Matthew O’Steen was five shots back of Holifield to finish tied for 64th with a score of 149.


George Elliott finished 91st with a score of 158.


Trent Zorgdrager was the final finisher for the Storm, posting a 164 and finish tied for 97th.


Southeastern will be back in action Oct. 14-15 when it travels to St. Albans, Mo. for the National Preview at The Country Club of St. Albans.
