HALTOM CITY — The Denison cross-country teams had top-four finishes at the N.E.T.C Invitational on Thursday as the Lady Yellow Jackets earned third and the Yellow Jackets placed fourth.

Ronu Duda led the Lady Jackets with a fourth-place finish in a time of 22:29 while Paige McMillan was 12th at 23:57, Ashlinn Hamilton took 20th in 24:15 and Christina Hernandez was 22nd in 24:25.

Other finishers for the Lady Jackets were Breanna Branch at 30th in 25:18, Karely Erives was 31st in 25:18, Regan McClure (25:22) and Reagan Payne (25:32) were right behind Erives, Andrea Hernandez took 41st at 27:19, Jocelyn Zepeda was 43rd in 28:13, Jalin Carrington placed 46th in 30:00 and Kiki Carter was 50th with a time of 32:58.

On the boys side, Denison was led by Damian Moreno, who took eighth with a time of 18:11.

Ty Kirkbride was 19th in 19:25, Tommy Prater finished 20th in 19:30, Jake Owens was 32nd in 20:03, Keghan Edgette took 45th at 21:23, Kaiser Garner was 48th in 21:39 and Kolbey Carrington placed 53rd with a time of 22:10.

Denison returns to action at the Lovejoy Festival at Myers Park in McKinney on Sept. 21.
