SAGINAW — Ryan Dobbs had six kills for Sherman but Chisholm Trail earned a 25-15, 25-14, 25-16 victory over the Lady Bearcats in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Kylie Jackman added five kills and Samantha Graham handed out 10 assists for Sherman (2-15), which opens play at the Argyle Tournament on Friday.


Tom Bean 3, Texoma Christian 0


In Tom Bean, Chloe Farrer had eight kills and three blocks as Tom Bean defeated Texoma Christian, 25-16, 25-15, 25-9, in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Raylynn Adams handed out 16 assists, Emma Lowing totaled five kills and four aces, Kyndle Selman put down four kills, Shelby Mason chipped in four digs and four aces and Taylor Whitehurst collected 12 digs to go with five aces for Tom Bean, which will compete in the Whitesboro Tournament starting on Thursday.


Allie Holtzclaw had six digs, three kills and a pair of aces to lead Texoma Christian (2-3), which opens TAPPS District 2-3A play by hosting Dallas Covenant at 7 p.m. on Thursday.


Tioga 3, Red River Rattlers 0


In Tioga, Nicole Hill put down 10 kills as Tioga defeated the Red River Rattlers, 25-17, 25-8, 25-23, in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Bekah Wineberg handed out 18 assists for Tioga, which will compete in the Whitesboro Tournament starting on Thursday.


Collinsville 3, S&S 0


In Collinsville, the Lady Pirates earned a 25-9, 25-13, 25-15 victory against the S&S Lady Rams on Tuesday night.


Collinsville (15-4) will play at Pottsboro on Friday.


Celina 3, Gunter 2


In Gunter, Beth Gilbreath had 14 kills for Gunter but Celina outlasted the Lady Tigers, 12-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22, 15-7, in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Jacee Childers handed out 46 assists and Kinzee Hamilton collected 18 digs for Gunter, which will play in the Argyle Tournament starting on Thursday.


Melissa 3, Whitesboro 0


In Whitesboro, Libby Langford put down five kills for Whitesboro but Melissa defeated the Lady Bearcats, 25-13, 25-14, 25-18, in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Elly Harper finished with seven assists and six digs, Chesney Wolf added eight digs and BreAnn Beste collected seven digs for Whitesboro, which hosts a tournament starting on Thursday.


Prairiland 3, Whitewright 0


In Whitewright, Callie McGee put down six kills for Whitewright but Prairiland defeated the Lady Tigers, 25-15, 25-8, 25-13, in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Skylar Gerner added four kills and Laura Simpson finished with four blocks for Whitewright, which is off until competing in the Nocona Tournament on August 29.
