DURANT, Okla. — After opening the day with a 5-2 loss, Southeastern Oklahoma State salvaged a Senior Day split when Katie McCullar connected on a two-run homer in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the regular-season finale, 2-0, over Oklahoma Baptist in Great American Conference play on Saturday afternoon.


The split moves the Savage Storm to 27-27 overall on the year with a 24-19 mark in Great American Conference play.


Southeastern (27-27, 24-19) will move into the postseason as the No. 4 seed in the GAC tournament in Bentonville, Ark.


In the finale, Destiny Riddle collected three hits and Symphoni Shomo added two more while three others had one apiece, including McCullar.


Emily Cudd got the start and tossed 6.1 innings while scattering five hits and striking out four.


McCullar took the ball with one out in the seventh and tossed 4.2 innings, scattering a pair of hits and striking out three to earn the win.


In the opener, Shomo, Riddle, Elexis Watson, Mykaela Wallace and Ivy Amador each collected a hit with Riddle driving in the only two runs.


Riddle also got the start and took the loss after allowing three runs on three hits in two innings with two strikeouts.


McCullar would finish that game as well, throwing five innings and allowing two runs on eight hits with three strikeouts.


OBU put up two runs in the first and another in the second. They would expand their lead to 5-0 in the fourth.


A two-run Riddle single in the bottom of the seventh got the Storm on the board but that was where the rally ended.
