VERNON — Brandon Talley was 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI and scored twice as second-place Grayson College beat Vernon, 14-3, in five innings to sweep a North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference double-header on Saturday.


Braydon Webb was 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and scored three times, Cordell Dunn was 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored twice, Will Quillen was 2-for-4, drove in a run and scored twice, Blake Rambusch walked twice, drove in a run and scored and Kade Self singled, walked and scored twice for the Vikings (37-12, 23-5), who host NCTC in a double-header at 1 p.m. on Wednesday


Grayson started the day with a 15-4 victory in five innings. Rambusch was 3-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI and scored three times, Jarrett Gonzales was 3-for-4 with double, walked, drove in two runs and scored, Josh Rodriguez doubled, drove in two runs and scored, Quillen singled, drove in two runs and scored twice, Riley McKinney doubled, walked twice, drove in a run and scored twice and Omar Cervantes drove in a pair.
