BLUE RIDGE — Garrett Grigg homered and drove in three runs as Howe finished the season with a 12-4 victory against Blue Ridge to close out District 10-3A action on Tuesday night.

Spencer Akins was 2-for-2 with a double, walked three times and scored four times, Jake Catching doubled, drove in a run and scored, Mason Riggs walked three times, Jalen Thornton walked and scored and Dylan Hughs drove in a run for Howe (5-19, 1-11).

Tyler Hall doubled and scored, Tanner Burden singled and drove in a run, Brayden Skotnicki singled, drove in a run and scored and Colin Southard and Brody Wiggins each singled, walked and scored for Blue Ridge (8-15, 1-11).


District 12-2A

Tioga 29, Muenster 19 (5)

In Tioga, Kassady Vandagriff was 3-for-6 with a double, five RBI and scored as Tioga closed out the regular season with a victory against Muenster in district action on Tuesday afternoon.

Marlie Rodas was 4-for-4 with a double, four RBI and scored twice, Rebekah Wineberg was 3-for-3 with a triple, walked three times, drove in three and scored four times, Kirstyn Eitelman was 3-for-4 with a home run, walked twice drove in four and scored twice, Raena Hernandez was 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored three times and Emerson Rhymes walked three times, drove in three and scored twice for Tioga.

TAPPS D-IV District 2

Texoma Christian 10, Rockwall Heritage 0 (5)

In Sherman, Bailey Yale threw a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks and was 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBI as Texoma Christian clinched the district title with a run-rule home win against Rockwall Heritage on Tuesday.

Bri Yale was 2-for-4 with a home run, double, two RBI and scored twice, Kaitlyn Hidalgo was 2-for-2 with a triple, drove in two and scored, Cana Miller was 2-for-3 and drove in a run and Tori Jobes singled and scored twice for Texoma Christian (10-0, 7-0), which closes out district play at Dallas First Baptist on Thursday.
