Southeastern Oklahoma State senior Zach James has repeated as the Great American Conference Golfer of the Year to highlight Southeastern’s postseason honors.

James took home the Player of the Year honor for the second-straight season and was joined by Hayden Foster on the first team.

James, a native of Whitesboro, earned seven GAC Player of the Week awards this season and is ranked third in the nation.

He has picked up five individual titles in 10 tournaments this season and finished in the top two in nine of them.

His 69.73 average score over 26 rounds is bolstered by 14 scores in the 60s and 20 rounds at par or better.

Foster, a senior from Pottsboro, earns his second straight first-team all-conference award and is ranked 93rd nationally, one of just four GAC players ranked in the top 100.

He posted a best finish of second at the Newman Fall Invitational and has a pair of top-fives and five top-10 finishes.

On the season Foster has posted four rounds in the 60s and 17 at par or better for an average score of 72.62 over 26 rounds.
