DURANT, Okla. — For the seventh time this season Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Zach James has earned Great American Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week honors, this time following his first-place finish at the Natural State Classic.

It is the 11th such honor for James in his career and the third in the last four weeks.

The Whitesboro native opened play with the tournament’s low round, carding a 65 and followed with a 69 to finish with a 134, winning the title by one stroke over Henderson State’s Cameron McRae.

The victory was his second in a row and the fifth individual title in 10 events this season.

He is carrying an average of 69.73 per round and carries and adjusted score versus par of minus-1.95.
