After winning three straight to close out last weekend’s Collegiate Water Polo Association tournament in St. Paul, Minnesota, the Austin College women’s water polo team has entered the CWPA Division III Top 10. The ‘Roos are now ranked No. 10 in the nation as they get ready for the CWPA Championships on April 12 in New London, Connecticut.

The first-year program picked up wins over Monmouth, then ranked No. 10 nationally, as well as Carthage and Wittenberg to improve to 6-8 overall on the year, as well as 5-3 in CWPA play. The ‘Roos clinched the No. 3 overall seed in the CWPA Championships, with six of the team’s losses this season coming against teams ranked nationally and another coming against NCAA Division I opponent Cal State Northridge.
