The Grayson College Vikings earned a split against Ranger College with a 6-5 win and a 6-4 loss in North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference action at Dub Hayes Field on Sunday.

In Grayson’s victory, Josh Rodriguez was 2-for-3, walked twice and drove in two, including the walk-off single. Riley McKinney was 4-for-5 and scored, Braydon Webb doubled, walked and drove in two and Jarrett Gonzalez and Hayden Houser each singled, drove in runs and scored.

In the loss, Brandon Talley was 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and scored twice, Cordell Dunn was 2-for-4 with a double, Gonzales triple and and scored and Houser doubled and scored for the second-place Vikings (24-8, 10-2), who host third-place Hill in a double-header at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
