DURANT, Okla. — Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Kevin Buckingham added a second first-team all-region honor when he was named to the Central Region team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

He becomes Southeastern’s first all-region selection since Eric Babers was selected in 2007 by the NABC. He also helped the Storm return to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time since 2007.

Buckingham, who was the Great American Conference Player of the Year, was third in the league at 20.3 points per game on 61.2 percent shooting while leading the GAC in rebounding with 9.5 per contest.
