The Sherman boys and girls swim teams picked up victories during a double dual meet with Paris and North Lamar at Austin College on Tuesday.


The Bearcats had a 42-25 win over Paris and a 48-6 win against North Lamar while the Lady Bearcats topped Paris, 65-32, to go with a 75-11 win against North Lamar.


On the boys side, the 200 medley relay of Sam Aguilar, Grant Dominick, Aldo Cornejo and Dylan Shull won in 2:08.76 while Shull, Aguilar, Pablo Portoles Loren and Cornejo combined to win the 200 free relay in 1:47.36.


Aguilar won the 200 free in 2:25.76, Shull won the 100 fly in 1:04.37 and the 50 free in 25.33 seconds, Cornejo won the 100 free in 1:01.57 and Portoles Loren won the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.22.


On the girls side, the 200 medley relay of Paige McMahan, Bella Maldonado, Brenna Michaelsen and Grace Quick won in 2:18.10 while the quartet also won the 200 free relay in 2:05.83 while Jordyn Berenguer, Grace Deffibaugh, Leslie Cornejo and Quick won the 400 free relay in 5:10.93.


Maldonado won the 200 free in 2:19.49 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:20.19, Michaelsen won the 200 IM in 2:42.75 and the 100 fly in 1:10.85, Diffibaugh won the 500 free in 7:07.41, McMahan won the 100 back in 1:23.93.
