DURANT, Okla. — For the fourth time in five tournaments, Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Zach James has earned Great American Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week honors, this time following his second-place finish at the Holiday Inn Express Classic in St. Joseph, Mo.

James, a Whitesboro native, takes home the honor for the eighth time in his career.

James picked up the second-place finish in the rain-shortened event, carding a two-under round of 69 in the only completed round.

It marked his fourth consecutive round in the 60s and the 10th round in the 60s this season out of 13 rounds played.

He finished the fall season averaging 68.62 per round and carries and adjusted score versus par of minus-3.29.
