Sarah Graham added 11 kills, seven digs and two aces, Kylie Jackman chipped in nine kills and 16 digs, Avery Charske put down nine kills, Cameron Wecker collected 18 digs and Samantha Graham handed out 41 assists to go with three aces for Sherman (11-16, 0-1), which hosts Wylie East on Friday.


McKinney North def. Denison 3-0


Taryn Gaines had nine kills and five blocks for Denison but McKinney North beat the Lady Yellow Jackets, 25-9, 25-14, 25-14, in the District 10-5A opener at Denison on Tuesday night.


Hannah Bilderback added two kills, Kenzie Clark and Maddie Marr each handed out five assists, Hannah Grinspan chipped in six digs and Rylie Buttrill collected seven digs for Denison (7-23, 0-1), which hosts Lovejoy on Friday.

SADLER — Maggie McCorkle had 11 kills, 11 assists and five digs as Whitesboro beat S&S, 25-12, 25-14, 25-8, in district action on Tuesday night.

Amaya Rice and Jy’Rea Johnson each had nine kills, Callie McGee put down eight kills, Erin Wood added seven kills, Kelsey Hodgdon handed out 37 assists to go with five aces, Gracie Robinson chipped in six aces and Emily Looney finished with eight digs and four aces for Whitewright (10-17, 0-3), which takes on Bonham at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
