DURANT, Okla. — Southeastern Oklahoma State men’s tennis players Carlos Anez and Ondrej Nice have been named ITA NCAA Division II All-Americans.

Anez, ranked No. 15 nationally in singles, took home a single play honor, while he and partner Ondrej Nice, the No. 7 ranked doubles duo, took home All-American recognition in doubles play.

Anez adds the honor on top of his Great American Conference Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honor as well while also taking home first-team all-GAC honors. The junior from San Diego, Venezuela, tallied 14 singles wins and added 14 doubles wins as well.

Nice, a junior from Rapotin, Czech Republic, was also a first-team All-GAC selection and in addition to the 14 doubles wins, also tacked on 11 singles wins.

The duo are the first All-American honorees since Mark Albright and Terry Wood in 1976.
