The Grayson College baseball team split its North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference double-header against McLennan, winning the opener 6-0 before a 5-4 loss, at Dub Hayes Field on Thursday.

Jackson Glenn was 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored, Martinez was 2-for-4, Andrew Miller doubled and scored and Clayton Rasbeary and Cordell Dunn drove in runs for the Vikings (35-11, 20-6).

In the opener, Zack Phillips threw a two-hit shutout with six strikeouts and five walks. Martinez was 3-for-3 with two RBI, Rasbeary was 2-for-4 with a double and scored twice, Brandon Talley was 2-for-3 and Dunn doubled, drove in a run and scored.
