LEONARD — Tanner Wigley was 4-for-4 with a grand slam, six RBI and scored twice as first-place Leonard run-ruled Whitewright, 11-1, in six innings in District 10-3A action on Saturday to clinch a playoff spot.


Sam Clark singled, drove in two runs and scored, Chance Sanderson doubled, walked twice, drove in a run and scored, Michael Shulze walked three times and scored and Trenton Paskero walked twice and scored twice and picked up the win for Leonard (11-7, 8-1).


Seth Jackson was 4-for-4 and drove in a run, Jace Andrew was 2-for-3, Ryne Godbey doubled and walked twice and Neal Taylor singled, walked and scored for Whitewright (8-10, 5-5).


Howe 10, Farmersville 6


HOWE — Spencer Akins was 2-for-3 with three RBI and scored three times as third-place Howe defeated Farmersville in district action on Saturday night.


Parker Blount went 3-for-4 with two RBI and scored, Cade Courtney was 2-for-4 with a triple and scored, Cirby Coheley was 2-for-3 and scored and Dyson Dillard singled, walked twice and scored three times for Howe (10-5, 6-4).


Farmersville (8-12, 4-5) fell to fifth place and a half game behind Whitewright for the final playoff spot with three games left.


District 9-4A


Decatur 13, Gainesville 1 (5)


DECATUR — Dawson Cassidy singled, scored and stole two bases during Gainesville’s district loss against Decatur on Friday night.


Draike Sparks and Wade Riddle singled and walked while Landon Prestage walked for Gainesville (6-14, 0-6).


District 11-4A


Anna 22, Celina 5 (5)


CELINA — Jacob Odom was 2-for-3 with a home run, five RBI and four runs as Anna run-ruled Celina in district action on Saturday.


Rawley Hector was 3-for-3 and a home run shy of the cycle with three RBI and five runs, Gabriel Surdukan was 2-for-3 with a homer and scored three times, Zach Howard was 2-for-3 with a double and five RBI, Dylan Burr was 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and scored and Mason Simmons doubled, walked three times, drove in a run and score four times for Anna (16-6, 4-3), which gained sole possession of third place after Aubrey’s loss against Melissa.


Zane Barrett was 3-for-3 and a triple shy of the cycle with two RBI, Will Keaveny doubled, drove in a run and scored, Joe Depalo and Cade Medlin each singled and drove in a runs and Jake Ingle singled and scored for Celina (4-12, 1-6).


Melissa 7, Aubrey 0


MELISSA — Krisjon Segleski, Sam Crain and Brady Morrison combined on a two-hit shutout as district co-leader Melissa clinched a playoff spot with a victory against Aubrey on Saturday.


Morrison also went 2-for-3, drove in a run and scored, Trevor Brooks was 3-for-3, Tate Whittington was 2-for-3 with a double, drove in a run and scored and Sean Turnage doubled, drove in two runs and scored twice for Melissa (19-7, 6-1).


Princeton 9, Bonham 0


BONHAM — Austin Fortune was 3-for-4 during Bonham’s district loss against co-leader Princeton on Saturday.


Tanner Reaves was 2-for-3 and Trevor Hartwell and Blake Bowser singled for Bonham (5-13, 1-6).


The victory clinched a playoff spot for Princeton.


District 9-3A


Ponder 3, Callisburg 1


PONDER — Sutten Tidwell had the lone Callisburg hit during the Wildcats’ district loss against fourth-place Ponder on Friday.


Jason Dugger walked and scored for Callisburg (2-15, 2-8).

Lindsay 3, Collinsville 2


COLLINSVILLE — Collin Westbrook struck out eight, allowed a pair of earned runs and singled and scored during Collinsville’s district loss against Lindsay on Friday.


Cayden Bailey also singled and scored, Dylan Kays singled and drove in a run , Justin Hernandez drove in a run and Garrett Vannoy singled and walked for Collinsville (5-9, 4-7).

PONDER — Kaycee Dougherty was 2-for-4, drove in three runs and scored during Callisburg’s walkoff loss against Ponder on Friday.


Katelyn Thurman was 3-for-4, drove in a run and scored twice, Harlie Weaver was 2-for-4 with a double and drove in a run, Savannah Hott was 2-for-4 and drove in a run, Halie Threadgill singled, walked and scored and Breann Woolsey doubled for Callisburg (5-12, 2-9).
