SHAWNEE, Okla. — Southeastern Oklahoma State spent the night playing catch-up in a 90-81 loss against Oklahoma Baptist in Great American Conference action on Thursday night.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 7-6 overall on the year and 5-3 in Great American Conference play heading into a home match-up on Jan. 13 against Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

Southeastern (7-6, 5-3) was led by a trio of double-digit scorers with Taten Hyde coming off the bench to score 13 points, followed by 12 points from Emem David and 11 points by Sa’Liesha Hunter, who had a team-best six assists.

Katie Branam hauled in a team-high eight rebounds, while Courtney Brady and David pulled down five apiece for the Savage Storm, which host Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
