DURANT, Okla. — Southeastern Oklahoma State libero Caitlin Cosby has earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 for her performance on the court and in the classroom during the 2017 season.

Cosby, a sophomore from Keller, is a biology and chemistry major and was recently named the Great American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and earned first-team recognition.

She is the GAC’s leader in digs with 677 on the season, averaging 5.94 digs per set, while also ranking in the national top 15 and third in the Central Region. In addition she has added just under one assist per set, while adding a team-high 26 service aces.

Cosby will now move on to the national ballot with a chance to earn Academic All-American honors.
