HILLSBORO — Hill College scored the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning as Grayson College ended the regular season with a 10-9 loss in Game 2 of its final NTJCAC series of the season on Saturday.

The Vikings finish as conference runners-up and move on to the NJCAA Region 5 tournament next week.

Hill scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to grab a 9-5 lead, but Grayson (35-12, 24-8) forced extra innings with a run in the seventh and three runs in the ninth.

Seth Mullis was 4-for-5 with three runs scored, and Andrew Miller drove in five runs and batted 2-for-4 for the Vikings. Jackson Glenn and Ty Jones added two hits each.

In Game 1, Hill rolled to an 11-1 run-rule win in five innings. Westyn Swenson singled in Jones in the second for the lone Grayson run.
