POTTSBORO — Almost anytime the ball was in his hands, Myles Mitchusson struck fear into opponents.

And for good reason.

The speedy senior receiver scored on the ground, through the air and on special teams as Pottsboro went 11-3 before a region final loss against state champion Mineola.

Mitchusson totaled 78 catches for 1,238 yards and 15 touchdowns, while running for a score and adding five return TDs.

The versatility not only saw Mitchusson be named the Most Valuable Player in District 5-3A (I) as Pottsboro won another district title but he is also the Herald Democrat All-Texomaland Class 2A-3A Offensive Player of the Year for 2016.
