WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Southeastern saw its long range shooting go cold in the fourth quarter as its lead evaporated in an 87-79 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Wednesday night.
The game was delayed for nearly an hour as the officials scheduled for the contest were no-shows, leading to the officials scheduled for the men’s game to pull double duty and call the first game of the doubleheader as well.
SE (8-6, 6-4) led heading into the final quarter 64-59, but finished the final frame 2-of-13 from behind the arc, including streaks of 0-for-6 and one to finish the game of 0-for-5.
Olivia Potter paced the SE offense with 19 which included a trio of 3s, while Katie Webb and Courtney Brady added 10 each and Rachel Wallace chipped in 10. Sa’Liesha Hunter finished with nine and a team-high three assists.
