SADLER — Ross Hendrix scored 18 points as Pottsboro defeated S&S, 70-37, in District 9-3A action on Friday night.

Ethyn Snider added 17 points, Carson Rein chipped in 14 points and Trey McCullough and Jaxon Recer finished with six points apiece for Pottsboro (13-7, 2-2).

Jayce Howard and Devin Orr each scored 12 points and Colby Howard added six points for S&S (10-11, 1-4).

District 12-2A Tom Bean 68, Bells 60

TOM BEAN — Noah Boyd had 28 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals as Tom Bean opened district play with a victory over Bells on Friday night.

Tyler Goff finished with 11 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks, three assists and three steals, Bryce Grier added 10 points and four assists and Keoni Puana scored eight points for Tom Bean (14-6).

Maverick Priest totaled 13 points, five rebounds and four assists, Tyler Hawthorne had 13 points and six rebounds, Hunter Hawthorne added 12 points and six rebounds and Colby Meek finished with eight points, nine rebounds and three steals for Bells.

District 13-2A Wolfe City 29, Honey Grove 27

WOLFE CITY — T.K. Williams scored 11 points for Honey Grove in a district-opening loss against Wolfe City on Friday night.

Zeke Woods added five points for Honey Grove (5-12, 0-1), which hosts Bland on Tuesday night.

District 22-1A Ector 63, Tioga 35

TIOGA — Ryan Wilder scored 26 points as Ector opened district play with a victory over Tioga on Friday night.

Andrew Groneck and Ethan Norwood each finished with 10 points for Ector.

Justin Rodriguez had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Josiah DeLeon grabbed seven rebounds for Tioga.

TAPPS District 2-2A TCS 68, Pl. Coram Deo 43

Blaise Bentsen had 16 points, eight rebounds, four steals and three assists as Texoma Christian defeated Plano Coram Deo in district action on Friday night.

Marlen Williams added 14 points and four assists, Carson Crow totaled 12 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and three steals, Tex Monk scored 10 points and Kyle McCarthy finished with six points, four assists and four steals for Texoma Christian (19-2, 5-0).

Non-district Gunter 79, Howe 47

GUNTER — Logan Nelson scored 18 points as Gunter beat Howe in non-district action on Friday night.

Tyler Scott added 15 points, Brandyn Brewer chipped in 11 points and Nick Gonzalez and Tyler Jolly totaled eight points apiece for Gunter.

Ty Harvey scored 21 points and Brandon Wall added 10 points for Howe.
