The Sherman Police Department is still on the look out for a robbery suspect. The alleged robbery took place just before 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Loy Lake Drive.
At the time of receiving the call at around 5:53 p.m., Sherman Dispatch learned the suspect had already left the business.
“Officers learned the suspect entered the business and handed an employee a note, which stated he was committing a robbery and demanded money,” a news release from the Sherman Police Department said. “The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money, left the bank, and fled the area. Nobody was injured during the incident.”
The description of the alleged suspect by the police said, “The suspect was a black male, wearing a blue suit, a light-colored beach hat, and a medical face mask.”
