The Sherman Independent School District recently celebrated its employees who are headed off into retirement at the end of this school year.

The event held at Hilton Garden Inn celebrated the combined contribution of those employees to the district’s goal of educating youngsters. A post on the district’s website said that those being honored had a given a combined 538 years of service to the district and 737 years of total experience in education.
