Katie Mithlo put down a pair of kills, Melanie Garcia handed out six assists, Sara Shumaker chipped in three assists, Lexi Williams totaled six digs and Harley Goodin finished with five digs for Denison (7-27, 1-10), which plays at Wylie East on Tuesday night.

Bonham def. Anna 3-0

BONHAM — Erika Porter had 16 kills and Kala Simpson added 10 with six digs each as Bonham defeated Anna, 25-20, 25-14, 26-24, to clinch its fourth consecutive playoff berth on Friday.

Madeline Dolberry totaled six kills and five aces and Kayla Sanmann garnered six digs and three aces for the Lady Warriors (31-9, 4-1), who host Community on Tuesday.

NEVADA — Melissa continued to stay undefeated in 12-3A after it defeated Community, 25-16, 26-24, 25-12, in district action on Friday night.

Melissa (24-4, 6-0), which plays at Princeton on Tuesday, is looking to earn at least a share of the district title with a victory.

Pottsboro def. Whitesboro 3-1

POTTSBORO — Tatum Marburger had 13 kills and 30 digs as Pottsboro clinched a playoff spot with a 19-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-20 victory against Whitesboro on Friday night.

Darby Wallace added nine kills, 10 digs and three blocks, Morgan Kent put down five kills, Sydney Henderson chipped in five kills and 11 digs, Bailey Wilson totaled four kills, 13 assists and 29 digs, Lindsey Evans finished with 11 assists and 16 digs and Kelli Frye collected 18 digs for Pottsboro (20-9, 9-2), which hosts Howe on Tuesday.

Bree Joyce added four kills and seven digs, Emily Fagan chipped in four kills and 10 assists, Katie Shults finished with three kills and three blocks, Macy Sanders collected 12 digs and Callie Snyder totaled nine digs for Bells (22-10, 6-5).

Howe def. Tom Bean

TOM BEAN — Riley Harvey had 11 kills and five digs as Howe defeated Tom Bean, 25-17, 25-19, 25-10, in district action on Friday.

Aurian James finished with 22 assists, six digs and three kills, Morgan Carney chipped in six kills and three digs, Kayla Anderson collected eight digs and Tiffany Lallier put down four kills for Howe, which moved into a three-way tie with Whitewright and S&S for the fourth and final playoff spot with three games remaining.

District 11-A

Collinsville def. Chico 3-0

COLLINSVILLE — Cally Johnson had 12 kills and 34 digs as Collinsville clinched a playoff spot with a 25-20, 25-17, 25-17 victory against Chico on Friday night.

Brooke Johnson added 11 kills and 30 digs, Talyn Price chipped in four blocks, Morgan Irelan finished with 12 assists and 19 digs, Holly Theall totaled 12 assists and 15 digs and Callie Woolsey collected 13 digs for Collinsville (16-14, 8-3), which plays at Saint Jo on Tuesday.

District 17-A

Dodd City def. Blue Ridge 3-1

DODD CITY — Jenna Wallace had 12 assists and four kills as Dodd City defeated district champion Blue Ridge 25-23, 18-25, 25-17, 25-12, on Friday.

Keeshia Thompson put down six kills and Logan Rencher handed out five assists for the Lady Hornets (16-15, 6-3), who play at Trenton on Tuesday night.

Katelyn Woodlee had four kills, while Skye Arrington and Talor Spindle added four digs each for Dodd City. Stephanie Wolter, Fallon Hilliard and Lindsay Carter also combined for eight kills.

Wolfe City def. Savoy 3-0

WOLFE CITY — Hanna White put down 10 kills for Savoy but Wolfe City defeated Savoy, 25-12, 25-21, 25-15, in district action on Friday.

Jerica Isom handed out six assists, Dakota Pope finished with 19 digs and six aces and Christina Francis totaled six assists and 13 digs for Savoy.

GUNTER — Katey Campbell had 14 kills and eight digs as Gunter defeated Princeton, 25-12, 25-14, 25-14, in non-district play on Friday night.

Mikayla Watson added 15 kills and 21 digs, Emily Bruner put down seven kills, Breanna Adkins handed out 14 assists, Lana Greene totaled 12 assists and 15 digs, Mackenzie Mazerolle collected 12 digs and Regan Hestand finished with four kills and 12 digs for Gunter (21-7).
