Heading into the final six weeks of the year, the new Van Alstyne High School is around 8 months from its expected completion. Van Alstyne Independent School District recently released progress photos showing the district's newest campus. The facility its expected to be complete by summer 2024 and will have an initial capacity of 1,000. According to the Census Bureau, Van Alstyne's 2021 population was 5,165.
