PHOTOS: Sherman ISD prepares for new school year

This week, Sherman Independent School District announced plans for its annual back-to-school bash. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sherman High School.

The bash is hosted by Sherman ISD in conjunction with Goodwill Industries of North Texas and the Boys and Girls Club of Sherman.

There will be free backpacks and school supplies while supplies last. On site there will be individuals doing free haircuts and fingernail painting.

Vendors will also be on site providing information, resources and free activities for children.
