Edna Marie Koschelew

Edna Marie Koschelew passed through to heaven this past Monday, January 10th, 2022 with her husband of 61 years, Peter Koschelew by her side.

Everyone knew her as Marie and hated should you call her Edna! She was born in Eden North Carolina July 15th, 1940. She joined the Air Force and was based in Fort Worth where she met Pete. They ended up in Sherman with 2 girls, Teresa Koschelew-Hankins of Fort worth and Angie Williamson of Conifer Colorado. She was committed to her work for Child Protective Services for 30 years.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sherman, and the Lions Club with her husband. She was the lover of Lake Texoma, photography, traveling and cheesecake. However, the true love of her life was Pete!!!

She is survived by 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth Simmons, Steven Kosch Riley, and Chloe Jean Riley and 1 great grandchild.

We want to thank Hospice Plus of Fort Worth, and Sherman for all their kindness and help, and support for the past several months. We will be holding a wake this Sunday in Fort Worth at the home of Teresa should you choose to attend. Her final resting place will be in Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth near other family members.
