Tommy Lee Johnson

Sherman - Tommy Lee Johnson of Sherman, Texas was born on January 12, 1956, in Collin County, Texas and passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 65 in Sherman, Texas.

Tommy attended Sherman High School graduating in 1974. He worked at C.C. Teague Inc and then at TLT Construction Co. Tommy was a man of many talents. Something could break and he could always figure a way to fix it. His wife could give him a honey do list of something she wanted built, and he could build it whether from metal, wood, or any other material. He enjoyed building things from wood until he discovered camping at Lake Texoma, fishing, and riding his trike. He kept everyone entertained sitting around a campfire. There was never a dull moment when Tommy was around.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cathy Scoggins Johnson, and their children, son T.J. Johnson (Christina) and daughter Michelle Johnson, both of Sherman, Texas. And grandson Paxton Johnson of Wellston, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. Johnson, and Mary L. Johnson.

A visitation will be held Saturday January 15, 2022, at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the chapel. You may also sign the online register at Waldofuneralhome.com
