Linda Sue Harris, 71, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Saturday, October 30, 2021, in Denison, Texas.

Sue was born January 11, 1950, in Washington, DC the daughter of Calvin "Cal" and Rachel (Wilkins) Hurlock. She graduated from Denison High School Class of 69. Sue was an Air Force brat. She married the love of her life, Jay Harris, January 31, 1990, in Sherman, Texas. For many years she was a nurse at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, and later a secretary before retiring. She was an active member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Over the years, she sang in the choir and was a team leader or Alter Guild. Sue loved her family and had a heart of gold. Her bubbly personality and laughter will be missed. Although her passing leaves a void in all of our lives, she will live on forever in our hearts.

Sue leaves behind her beloved family, husband, Jay Harris of Sherman, TX; daughter, Dianne Ort and husband, Robert of Denison, TX; stepson, Jay Harris Jr and stepdaughter, Jessica Harris, granddaughters, Autumn Cook, Desiree Ort, two great grandchildren, Ellie Cook, Raine Gonzalez; sisters, Debbie Hood and husband, Randy, and Nancy Lakey and husband, Phil, numerous nieces, and nephews,

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cal and Rachel Hurlock, and sister, Peggy Humphrey.

Sue will be cremated according to her wishes. Services are pending.
