Norma Areta Phillips 87 passed away Saturday, July 16th, 2022, in Sherman Texas

Areta was born October 17th, 1934, in Houston Texas. She graduated at Southeastern Oklahoma State University Summa Cum Laude. She was involved with the Denison City Police Association, the Texoma Rainbow Iris Society, the Fort Worth Iris Society, and an American Iris Society

Areta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, and stepson. Areta leaves behind her beloved family, a daughter, son, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church in
