The Denison City Council will continue work on its budget Monday. The Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Denison City Hall, located at 500 W. Chestnut St.


Other items that will be considered include:


• a second public hearing for the city’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan for 2015-2019 and First-Year Plan with the Department of Housing and Urban Development;


• a report from the building official on unsafe structures located at 3115 Ann Drive, 1501 W. Bond St., 3101 N. State Highway 91 and 326 W. Morgan;


• the Chestnut Street rehabilitation program for roadway improvements; and


• a memorandum of understanding with TPJ Properties for future park development.


In a closed, executive session, the Council will discuss:


• threatened or pending litigation about the Atmos Rate Appeal, 715 W. Sears, 2212 W. Morton, 2102 Flora Lane, Lankford Roofing, the EFH bankruptcy and 110 W. Houston;


• the city manager position; and


• proposed projects with TIF #1, TIF #2 and Denison Development Alliance incentive projects.
