Criminal mischief — A business called police Wednesday to report an incident of criminal mischief that occurred in the 1800 block of Texoma Parkway. Sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 9 a.m. on Wednesday, someone cut the gas line to a white box van and siphoned gasoline from the gas tank.

Sherman Police


Criminal mischief — A business called police Wednesday to report an incident of criminal mischief that occurred in the 1800 block of Texoma Parkway. Sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 9 a.m. on Wednesday, someone cut the gas line to a white box van and siphoned gasoline from the gas tank.


Assault by threat — On Wednesday, a woman reported that her neighbor threatened to cut her and her family with a knife. The incident occurred in the 400 block of S. Crockett Street.


Harassment —Wednesday, a woman went to the Sherman Police Department to report a robbery. The woman said that another woman had been calling her and harassing her. The suspect had called the woman seven times after being asked to cease all contact. Police made a report for harassment.


Theft — A man called police Wednesday to report a theft that occurred in the 900 block of S. Travis Street. On Tuesday at 1:30 a.m., a woman that the man knows took several items from his apartment and sold them to a neighbor.


Stolen vehicle recovery — An officer responded to a report of a stolen motorcycle Wednesday in the 1300 block of S. Branch Street. The officer found the motorcycle in the house. A man at the house said he had bought the motorcycle and was unaware that it had been stolen. The officer recovered the motorcycle from the house, and the investigation is ongoing.


Burglary — A woman called police Wednesday to report that her car had been burglarized in the 1800 block of Loy Lake Road. Sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., someone entered the woman’s unlocked car and removed her purse and its contents from the trunk.


Criminal mischief — An officer responded to a report of criminal mischief Wednesday in the 1100 block of E. Cherry Street. A woman said that her window had been shot out with a BB gun.


Theft — Officers responded to a theft call Wednesday at a business in the 1800 block of Loy Lake Road. A man had stolen more than $200 worth of merchandise. The officers arrested the man for theft.


Assault — On Thursday an officer responded to an assault in the 1800 block of W. Belden Street. A woman at the scene said that another woman had assaulted her. The victim had fresh injuries. The officer arrested the suspect for assault family violence.


Computer security breach — Thursday, a business owner went to the Sherman Police Department regarding a theft at her place of business in the 1600 block of Texoma Parkway. Someone unlawfully transferred money to an account using a money transfer device.


Criminal mischief — A woman called police Thursday to report an incident of criminal mischief that occurred in the 2700 block of Texoma Parkway. Sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, someone shattered a glass window on the east side of a business.


Theft — Police responded to a theft Thursday at a store in the 1800 block of Loy Lake Road. A woman had attempted to steal several DVDs, and was detained by employees. Police arrested the woman for theft.

Possession of a controlled substance — On July 1, police arrested a woman in the 1500 block of Old Ector Road for possession of a controlled substance.


Theft — On July 2, police responded to the 500 block of Chestnut Street and arrested a man for theft by check.


Public intoxication — Police arrested a man for public intoxication on July 2 in the 800 block of N. Center Street.


Burglary — Police responded to a burglary of a habitation call on July 3 in the 1500 block of Lake Bonham Drive. No arrests were made.


A child in need of supervision — On July 3, police responded to a call for service in the 1400 block of State Highway 121 N. regarding a complaint of a child in need of supervision.


Possession of a controlled substance — Police arrested a woman on July 3 in the 700 block of E. Sam Rayburn Drive on two counts of possession of a controlled substance.


Disorderly conduct — Police responded to a disturbance July 3 in the 8000 block of Lake Bonham Dr. They arrested a man for disorderly conduct — language.


Possession of a controlled substance — Police arrested a woman on July 3 in the 500 block of E. Sam Rayburn Drive for abandon/endanger child imminent danger and possession of a controlled substance.


Assault — On July 4 an officer responded to the 800 block of E. 2nd Street and arrested a woman for assault family violence.


Possession of a controlled substance — Police arrested a woman on July 4 in the 1000 block of E. 6th Street for possession of a controlled substance.


Assault — Police responded July 4 to the 1800 block of State Highway 121 N. and arrested a man for assault family violence.


Theft — Police arrested a man for theft on July 6 in the 700 block of E. Sam Rayburn Drive.


Criminal mischief — Police responded July 6 to the 800 block of W. 14th Street and made a report for criminal mischief.


Theft — On July 10, officers arrested a woman for theft in the 300 block of Smith Street.


Assault — Police arrested a woman July 10 in the 600 block of W. 6th Street for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.


Criminal mischief — An officer responded July 12 to the 600 block of E. 7th Street and made a report for criminal mischief.


Assault — Police arrested a woman on July 13 in the 900 block of W. 12th Street for assault.


Public intoxication — An officer responded July 13 to the 1300 block of Island Bayou Road and arrested a man and woman for public intoxication.


Obstruction — On July 15 an officer arrested a man in the 200 block of W. 7th Street for obstruction/retaliation.


Arson — On July 16, officers arrested a boy in the 800 block of Seven Oaks Road for arson and criminal mischief. The officers took the boy to the juvenile detention center in Denison.
