Karen (Braudrick) Cass, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, and proud member of the Choctaw Nation, passed from this life on Sept. 9, 2020 at the age of 59. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 12, 2020 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Armstrong, Oklahoma, with Bro. Nick Robison officiating.


Karen was born in Durant to Bill Braudrick and Helen (Murray) Braudrick on May 22, 1961. She was married to Bobby Cass. Karen was Baptist by faith, loved to watch Bob Rawls paint, enjoyed the beauty of her flower garden, and worked as a insurance processor by trade. She was a loving soul who was a second mother to other people’s grandchildren.


Mrs. Cass is survived by her husband, Bobby, of the home, sisters, Kathy Ashley and husband Michael of Durant, and Mechelle Howard and husband Blake of Calera, Oklahoma, brothers Cody Braudrick of Denison, Texas, and Roger Braudrick of Ft. Worth, Texas, and also survived by her father, Bill Braudrick of Durant.


Mrs. Cass was preceded in death by her mother Helen Braudrick, sister Donna Kay Braudrick, and brothers Ricky Braudrick and Tom Braudrick.
