It’s that time of year again where Mary Karam Gallery brings together works of art that are small to cover her walls and invites the community to come and enjoy the view.

Small on the Wall Exhibit XII will run until Aug. 15 with an artists reception from 2-4 p.m. Saturday.

Patrons can expect a wide range of media from 22 artists (including 5 from Dallas) and over 60 works of art to be displayed in the Small on the Wall Exhibit.

In it’s 12th year it has kept up the pace.

As usual, there is something for everyone including paintings, metal work, stained glass, photography, paper mache, and mixed media with found objects.

“Especially interesting is Sandra Deandra's art using watercolor and colored pencils on wood, Martina Noble's mixed media brooches using semi-precious gemstones, and Vicki Charlotta's cochineal dye painting and origami/mixed media art. Rita Barnard is exhibiting a mixed media triptych, which defies description. You just have to see it!” said Karam.

“I really love doing this show every year. It brings the art community together in a special way. Everyone loves the wide variety of the art in this show and it is so different every year. It's a time when artists can experiment with different media. It's a time when customers can buy wonderfully original art at affordable prices. I am so grateful for all the creative artists in north Texas and I love showcasing some of their art!” Karam said with a smile.

. “Social distancing is necessary for the safety of all,” adds Karam
