The housing market in Texoma has been affected by the coronavirus just like many other industries throughout the country and the world this year. Coming off a housing boom in 2019, the first quarter of 2020 saw new construction and low housing prices, making the region a buyer’s market.
According to January reports, there were about 171 homes on the market in Sherman and 178 for sale in Denison. By comparison, there were only 650 residential listings for all of Grayson County, GTAR President Evan Martin said. According to Martin, a healthy number of homes on the market, by comparison, would be about 1,400 for the whole county.

628 Legend Lane was listed on March 3 for $399,900 by Dean Gilbert Realtors and Century 21.
