Sherman Police

Theft - Texoma County Pools and Spas in the 3800 block of Texoma Parkway called on April 3 to report someone had stolen parts off a work truck that was parked in their fenced in compound sometime during the night. A report was made for theft of property between $750-2,500 from a motor vehicle.

Possession - Sherman officers located a suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block N. Harrison Ave on April 4. The investigation revealed one of the occupants was in possession of marijuana. A possession of marijuana under two ounces report was generated.

Criminal mischief - Officers were dispatched on April 4 to the 3000 block of Northridge Drive in reference to a disturbance. When officers arrived it was determined a couple had an argument and one of the individuals left prior to police arrival. Through an investigation, it was discovered a third party’s property was damaged during the argument. A report for criminal mischief between $750-$2,500 was created

Trespass - An officer was dispatched on April 4 to the 2900 block of N US HWY 75 in regards to a black male trespassing at the Holiday Inn Express. The officer arrived on scene and located the male who was received a criminal trespass warning from the property earlier in the day. The male was arrested and transported to Grayson County Sheriff’s Office. A criminal trespass report was generated.

Denison police

Crash - Officers responded on March 31 to a motor vehicle crash in the 1800 block West Morton where a vehicle had struck a utility pole. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Burglary of a vehicle - On April 1, a victim stated an unknown suspect removed some wallets and miscellaneous items from his vehicle in the 1200 block of South Lang.

Burglary - On April 1, a victim in the 1700 block of South Woodlawn stated someone took numerous tools from a garage. We will be following up on leads.

Burglary of a vehicle - A victim stated on April 2 that an unknown suspect removed several tools from his vehicle on Pershing Drive.

Disturbance - Officers responded to a call on April 2 of a disturbance in the 2500 block of Steven Drive. A resident was arrested for assault causing bodily injury/family member.
