Denison Police are searching for a male suspect after Landmark Bank off FM 691 was reportedly robbed Tuesday afternoon.

Lt. Mike Eppler said police were dispatched to the business at approximately 2:15 p.m. Officers arrived on scene and determined that an older, white male suspect had entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect reportedly told staff he was in possession of a bomb, but never brandished a weapon.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a green Ford Ranger pickup with Oklahoma plates.

Eppler said there was no ongoing threat to public safety Tuesday afternoon, but asked anyone able to identify the suspect, or those with knowledge of the incident call Detective Watt of the Denison Police Department at 903-465-2422.
