Denison Police are looking for two suspects in connection with the use of stolen checks at banks and businesses on both sides of the Red River.


In a social media post, the department said the checks were reportedly stolen from a mailbox in Denison and used at numerous locations in Grayson County and Bryan County, Oklahoma.


Images of the first suspect, a female in a brown Jeep, were captured by security cameras at First United Bank in Sherman, where at least one stolen check was deposited. The male suspect was also photographed after allegedly passing a stolen check at the Walmart in Durant.


Those able to identify the suspects or those with knowledge pertaining to the department’s investigation are asked to call Denison Police Det. Watt at 903-465-2422.
